Gurnee Renovation Project:
Landmark Homes custom built this home ten years ago for the current owners. As their family grew, so did their need for freshening up the dated kitchen. The owners wanted to update with all natural products and upgraded to stainless steel appliances. 

The cabinets were selected from the Masterbrand Diamond brand for their versatility and style. The honed black granite counters were chose both for their looks and flexibility. Although looks played a part, the appliances were all selected mostly for their performance.

Lighting also played a large roll in this redesign. Under cabinet lights are used for mood enhancing and tasks. Over cabinet lights highlight collections of wire baskets, boxes and pitchers. Pendant lights are located over the large island work area.

The overall effect of the remodel is stunning. And, this was not rebuilt just a showplace, it is the epicenter of this family home. Our homeowners use it not only for preparing dinner but for entertaining, homework or just unwinding with a glass of wine after a very long day. 

Libertyville Whole House Renovation Project:
Expert Renovations just completed what amounted to a whole house remodel on a home that we had built just 6 years ago in Libertyville. The new owners (also former Landmark Homeowners) wanted to make it truly their own home. Everything from a basement built-out complete with wine room, bar, family room, work out room and study area to building over two story space, an extensive mud room addition, reworking door openings, windows, trims and moldings and adding built-ins in almost every room of the house, made this our most impressive renovation ever. Everyone had input on the remodeling of this home. Fueled by the homeowners designs, the project manager, design specialists, carpenters, electricians and plumbers came up with the finishing elements of this wonderful space. The renovations are not only seamless but spectacular. The homeowners now have the best of both worlds…in town living with Landmark quality.
